ainoa2205:

Ruby says that a quadrilateral is a square if and only if it is a rectangle is this a true bi conditional statement

Rylee88:

A square and rectangle are the same. But a quadrilateral has 4 vertices and so does a square and rectangle so Id says yes, but they do have similarities and differences.

Vocaloid:

in order for a biconditional statement to be true, then both conditions must be true let's split the biconditional into its two conditionals: if a quadrilateral is a square, then it is a rectangle (is this generally true?) if a quadrilateral is a rectangle, then it is a square (is this generally true?) if both are true ---> the biconditional is true. otherwise, it's false.
