Wrote a vent poem just wanted to know what y'all thought of it :D
I hate my skin
It's so itchy I want to peel it off
And hang it up on my wall
I'm a boy to the extent of a girl
And I'm sorry I couldn't resist that feeling
Long enough to confirm.
I'm sorry the dream was so long
That I missed the doctor's appointment.
I want to go back to that little kid
And beat it until it bleeds out of its skull
And its demented, gaping eyes.
It screaming for my mercy,
It yelling for help.
It will never yell loud enough.
Its vocal cords will tear;
A river of tears will come
In decades.
That little kid ruined it for me.
It made me unable to come forward
And tell her who I am.
I'm a wall of emotions and not enough man
To bury them six feet under.
I'm not real am I?
Is this a test I've scored a fifty on?
A test I've failed and will have to carry?
Or is this a scraped knee
That killed me?
Because I wasn't enough male to cover it?
If this is a joke it's a sick one.
It's one I don't get that's staying with me
And I can't get it out of my head.
I don't understand it.
I never stayed long enough to hear
The punchline.
Is it a dream that's so obscure no intellect
Can find out what it means?
Does the dream involve:
A young boy in a closet of The Dark,
Where he has nobody but himself for company
And bright red bandaids on his arms glow
Bright enough to shine from under the doors.
Tears prickling at his eyes, tears he's too scared
To cry?
Or does the dream involve the boy going on
Stage and giving the crowd a faux intimate show
Because his lack of talent leaves him with such
Filth he's too scared to leave behind?
Or is the boy dead?
And so far gone he can't be revived?
So far down that only himself and the Payer
Are there?
It's only a dream though, right?
Nothing like this can ever happen!
He'll wake up and learn he's not a boy.
That he's just been fed compliments until
His stomach is full and his brain
Is clouded with the same faux intimacy.
He's such a dirty boy.
He shouldn't have woken up.
Or at least forgotten what he did the night before.
Stupid boy playing a stupid never ending game
Of chase and hide and seek.
Seekers be dominant and hiders be damned.
God damn.
Damn it to hell where it should stay
Keep the filth away from me until
I'm man enough to bear it again.
The filth: a chest of words.
Rotten words that stick to me like
Caterpillar feet and lollipops.
The words are so pink they turn me blue
I'm not the right shade of blue, though.

The fact that when I just read this I got chill bumps all up a down my body thats a good thing but like- the amount of detail an imaginative thoughts you put an applied into this are just amazing and the fact that you wrote this because this is how you feel makes it even better although your going through your own personal struggles of contemplation its good that you can write about it. I love it and i think its amazing i found it very interesting an different from other writers. (:
