I have a question for you guys. I guess the subject matter is a bit philosophical, but I suppose it is also psychological as well. I need opinions on what makes a good person different from an evil one? Is it behavior? A difference of their worldview? Is there truly a stark difference between good and evil, or is it more a blur? And based off the standard that reveals what is good or evil, would you guys be considered good or evil? Would I be considered good or evil? For instance, say that a man is wronged by another an evil man. The man who was wronged takes matters into his own hands and takes care of the wrongdoer so that he will not be a problem in the future. Would that make the man who was wronged a villain or simply someone willing to do what was necessary? Is committing a wrong acceptable for the greater good, or should we try to keep to our moral code, despite it possibly costing us in the future by doing so? Just need some different opinions from a variety of people for my psychology class, so feel free to state your thoughts!

I mean there is not necessarily evil people per say. people just make bad decisions in life and don't learn from them

NIYAHSPAMZZ:

A good person is one who strives to continually improve their own character. This one will not allow himself to do what he knows is wrong. He isn’t perfect nor does he believe himself to be perfect, but what he knows is right he does to the best of his ability. A bad person is one who does not strive or only attempts to improve their own character sporadically. This one will allow himself to do what he knows is wrong and possibly regret it later. He may compare himself to his neighbor and justify his character flaws to himself by saying tht is's not tht bad . An evil person cares not what is right and what is wrong, only what is beneficial to him. At least that is what he tries to convince himself. He may even enjoy destroying others and observing their pain. hope this helps 💙🤍✨I believe the difference between the three types of people you mentioned vary based on intention. I do however, believe that there is a thin line between “bad” and “evil”. kinda like myself tbh 😇😈thts how i think of it 🤍. also it's based on the decision we make.

Just because someone makes a bad decision does not necessarily make them evil. People have many different ideas what evil actually means. Yes you could do something "evil" but if you are willing to change yourself for your own good and for the better of humanity then are you really evil? That is a question only you can answer yourself as you make your own choices.

I believe the difference between the three types of people you mentioned vary based on intention. I do however, believe that there is a thin line between “bad” and “evil”. This seems to be an interesting question and I feel that the emphasize should be more on the difference between “bad” and “evil”. The “good” person is quite obvious. lets start off by setting one thing in perspective and that is that, a bad person isn’t necessarily evil while an evil person is definitely bad. Makes sense? Good. An evil person I would say is “evil” by nature. The “being a bad person” overall is more of a trait, where as a bad person isn’t necessarily bad by nature, its just due to his or her behavior. For example, when we see brutal, unjust and evil dictators from the past, we can conclude that those dictators or leaders were “evil” by nature as they implemented their evilness into society. A great way of looking at this is that I think, “evilness” is related to ideology, where as, as stated before, “bad” is more associated with a person’s behavior. Yes it is confusing (even I’m confused as I’m writing this) but hey, you asked, and I’m giving my thoughts and perspective on your question. “😈Bad” on the other hand, is less of a problem. A “bad” person can easily be changed into a good person, which is not so easy for an evil person.🥺🤍💙✨
