Inequalities vs. Equations, what would I need to know about both of these?

Rylee88:

An inequality is basically just Greater than, Less than and equal to, between two numbers or algebraic expressions. An equation is a math type of statement that two expressions are equal, it is either an identity in which the variables can assume any value or a conditional equation in the variables.
