Question

I need some help coming up with story ideas for a series I'm writing with a good friend of mine. I only have two ideas so far and I need some more to see which one I would like.

Here are the two story idea that I have:

1) "The main theme will be revolving around breaking years of generations worth of trauma, the story will be told by the youngest Blackblood child, Salvatore Igneous Nightvalor-Blackblood, but — despite it being in Salvatore’s point of view — the story will be entirely about Miranda and her trauma of losing her parents to a war, being abused by her lovers, and being forced to bare and raise children"

2) "Literally inspired by The Outsiders. Each character will have to find a way to stick together and work together to stay together as a family. Many characters will die in the process of the story; one character will only be present through brief mentions up until the end of the book, Miranda. Miranda will be missing in the events of the story until Salvatore finds her."

I'd like to see what you guys come up with :)
