try moving c to where the y axis and x axis meet because it might help u find the area

Well first you have to find the coordinates of the triangle after the dilation To do so you simply mutliply the given coordinates by the scale factor So multiply the coordinates of triangle ABC by the scale factor ( 1/2 ) to get the coordinates of the dilation. And then you can move the vertices to the coordinates of the new triangle
