Companies generally have both 1. Deadlines and 2. Standards of quality

But what happens if you can’t meet the deadline without out sacrificing quality? What do you do? Do you explain to your client that you can’t meet the deadline? Or do you work overtime/hire more people at a higher cost to get it done?

This is an example of a dilemma because it’s a situation in which you have to make choices, each with undesirable consequences.
