Hopefully you know what a vertical asymptote is.... basically when a function cannot have certain values of x in your f(x) function, you want to see when the denominator will equal 0, because that will be when f(x) does not exist. \(0=2x^2+6x-8\) -> \( 0=(2x-2)(x+4)\) then for what values x equals
