For each value of v, determine whether it is a solution to 8 > v *Picture below*
So I am a little rusty at this but if I am understanding this right it wants us to find a value of v which is greater than 8 right? So from that chart looking at the first one do you thing it is yes or no?
I honestly have no clue.
If the value of v=8 and we are looking for \[8>v\] Do you think that the answer is yes or no?
Yes?
Why do you think yes? Can you please explain your reasoning why yes?
I think yes because v=8. So if we are looking for that I think Yes since it's the same thing.
Wouldnt just make it 8=8 instead if we put v=8?
I don't know, I'm not good at these lol.
Your fine. So what would you think now knowing if we put it in for v=8 and it would be 8=8.
No?
I still need help lol.
Alright so we will move onto number 2 so if v=4 and it would be \[8>4\] Would that be yes or no?
Yes, because 8 is bigger than 4.
Correct. Your getting this.
12, No then 7 Yes?
12 no, because it's HIGHER than 8 then 7 Yes because 8 is higher.
Correct. Congrats rylee.
YES, Thank you!
Your welcome!
Rylee snow may disagree with me and I think she will because I may have done it wrong. I do apologize if I did do it wrong.
No, your right. I put it in and it says correct. Now that you showed me how I get it thank you so much!
Alright thats good to hear!
Yeah, you're correct, don't worry! I just wanted to explain because you didn't that basically what timmyspu were doing was to replace each value of v with v from the equation, don't overthink it
Yes, I get it now, I was overthinking Thank you both VERY much. <3
Alright. Thank you snow. When you started typing I was thinking if I did something wrong and if I did I was thinking snow is going to correct me. Well I am glad I was able to help you rylee and thank you for the more explanation snow.
