The supreme court is very powerful but not powerful than the President
The president controls the whole entire country including the Supreme Court, so I would say the Supreme Court is very powerful despite the ruler because they make decisions that can impact the world and increases justice with written laws that they created
Powerful but not powerful than the President
Supreme Court is one of the highest courts.
The supreme court and the president work together. However the supreme court is not to be confused with congress. The supreme court does not have as much power as the president or congress. The supreme court is the highest court in the nation and decisions must be approved by the president.
the president is one branch of government (executive) and the SC is the judicial branch. in my opinion the Judicial branch is the most powerful. Yes, the President runs the country and all of that, and can veto bills passed by Congress. However, through the power of Judicial Review, the Supreme Court is able to check the actions of both other branches. Yes, judges in the court are appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. But, the Supreme Court makes all the important decisions in the country. Decisions made in the SC are the law of the land . Overall, I’d say the SC is more powerful than the President.
