A bowling ball is hanging on a rope, 1.0 m above the floor. A teacher pulls the bowling ball towards his chest to a height of 2.5 m and lets go. The ball swings away from the teacher and swings back. If kinetic and potential energy are conserved, what is the height of the bowling ball when it swings back to the teacher's chest?

Vocaloid:

Because KE and PE are preserved, all the KE from the ball is converted back to PE when the ball swings back to the starting point. therefore, the endpoint of the ball will be the same as the starting height.
