My poem, hope you guys like it:

I wish I knew what it felt like to be heard and to be seen
Sometimes I sit around wondering if this is all a dream
Because for some reason I have all this anger in me

And it all comes out when I’m in a vulnerable state
But I don’t really mean all the things that I say
I sit around and wonder why my life is this way

Why every time I feel good, I end up in tears
I’m tired of it; it’s been like this for years
Sometimes I just need someone who is “all ears”

Being diagnosed with depression at the age of eight
Has really left me without any faith
There are times where I love and times where I hate

And I wish all the hate would just go away
Sometimes I feel things that aren’t easy to say
And sometimes I just want to be left alone to find my way

I hate telling people “I’m in so much pain”
Because most people don’t seem to care anyway
So all of my feelings get bottled away

And one day everything explodes
Then it all happens again and I already know
I’m gonna end up in a place where I want to be alone
