what classes should i take as incoming freshman
@hazel2022 I assume this is for university. Do you have a particular major in mind?
oncoming not incoming that just made me laugh. Most likely high school not college
I thought all high schools just gave you classes as freshmen. Didn't give you options.
Well Hazel, try to take as many required classes as you can so you can enjoy your junior/senior year more. That's where I shoved my fun classes to enjoy with friends.
Try to incorporate as many college classes as practicable. Most high schools do this it will benefit you in the long run. Universities will be interested in you, and you would have to do far less when starting university
I mean if you are AP student caliber, definitely do it if you can. But if you're a mediocre student you don't want to overly burden yourself. A decent GPA is better than stressing yourself out and getting a bad GPA. That being said, freshman year is a great time to figure out if you're capable of those kinds of courses, then you can design the rest of your semesters around that information.
The benefits of taking AP / college classes is that not only do they make you look good to universities (as Floo said) but those extra credits can be the difference in taking less overall semesters at uni (less $$$) and maybe adding another major or minor into your schedule.
When you complete college courses in high school you become appealing to colleges because that means they will not have to spend less money on you. You should talk to your school counselor. But as a former student, I encourage you to take internships right now and do some volunteer work
thank you guys i do really appreiate it
appreciate
