Jay04:

(27x)^1/3

JamesTDG:

Is there any extra context for this? I cant resolve for x without the entire problem

Jay04:

that is literary all I was given. it's a rational exponent.

Vocaloid:

If it's asking to simplify the expression, you can apply the exponent to the term inside the parentheses (27x)^(1/3) = 27^(1/3) * x^(1/3) simplify 27^(1/3) by finding the cube root of 27. you can probably leave x^(1/3) alone unless they don't allow fractional exponents, in which case you'd re-write it as the cube root of x
