Everything that survived the Pearl Harbor bombing would become an important part of culture. This is because of the toll that the bombing had on other parts of militia and citizens.

War-wise, the survivors could still stay at their area, recover (unless seriously injured), and fight. Just in case the Japanese came one last time, they would now be prepared. The Japanese never ended up returning to the area, but the survivors of the Pearl Harbor bombing could now prepare better for future attacks.
