Gucchi:

Which of the following gases is used up during photosynthesis? Carbon dioxide Nitrogen Oxygen Sulfur dioxide

Gucchi:

am i right with A? or is it C? im confused

Gucchi:

@kittybasil can u help

Timmyspu:

So are you looking for what the plant takes in? Or what it breaths out?

Timmyspu:

If we are talking about the gas that the plant takes in it would take in carbon dioxide. The reason is we breathe in oxygen and then breathe out carbon dioxide. If you are talking about what the plant produces it would be oxygen. The reason is when the we breath out the carbon dioxide the plant takes it in and makes it into oxygen for us to breathe. You would know this because I assume you have heard of this for what trees do. I hope I helped answer your question!

BlackShakespeare:

Even a fool knoweth that plants consume carbon dioxide as a necessary ingredient for photosynthesis.
