In general, cities with higher climates are dryer and hotter, I know because I live in AZ*. You could also take into consideration the breeze blowing off of the ocean. So even though they are at the same latitude, they have much different average temperatures based on the actual setting of the cities. *mods, please don't delete this on account of me revealing where I live, I am well aware of what I said and I don't care if people know.
