When accidents like these occur are inter-governmental agencies have certain teams that respond to each one of these such as the (EPA) deals with oil spills that occur in the inlands and the US Coast Guards deal with the oil spills in the coastal areas, As for the air pollution the (EPA) has legal authorities to tend to situations such as that too but also have another team known as the (CAA) that has permitting authority, and for the last one the (IAEA) has toolkits that help with situations such as these an are well equipped for handling operating systems to solve the problem.
