Title of Bill: poverty BE IT ENACTED BY THE PRINCETON MODEL CONGRESS WHEREAS we will be talking about Child Abuse, Poverty and Civil Rights. Child abuse, Poverty and Civil Rights needs to be addressed by the government. Absolute poverty is the complete lack of the means necessary to meet basic personal needs, such as food, clothing, and shelter. ARTICLE 1: CHILD ABUSE Children now-a-days are being beaten and raped and most people have not done or said anything about it. People are not feeding their children which leads their children to dying or starving. Suffers greater mental health than physical damage which can cause a lot of problems for in the future. Has stressing disorder if they do not eat or drink or at least try to eat and drink. Avoids people or not going places because they feel the need to leave everyone alone. Feeling’s fear, horror, and anger because they have no other way to feel if they are in a home of bad and sadness. Death, emotional harm, or risk of serious harm to child which can lead to children killing them-selves or hurting others. Use silence of control behavior, yelling and swearing mental distress or they can lead to panic attacks and or other things that will cause problems. Severely shaking baby can lead disabilities, behavior disorders, vision problems or blindness, hearing and speech issues, seizures, cerebral palsy, serious brain injury, and permanent disability. Locking a baby or child up all day and night can cause the child to not eat or to not do anything or to always be locked up. ARTICLE 2: POVERTY Government should give kids living in poverty the same access as wealthy kids. Kids in school full time should have high speed internet. Make kids do everything homework at school. Give students materials that are needed. Give poverty students same high-level curricular. Keep stocks of supplies that student may need and do not single them out. Decreases a child’s readiness for school through aspect of health. Children from low-income families do not receive the stimulation and do not learn. Poor physical health and motor skills limitless a child’s ability to concentrate. Reduces attentiveness, curiosity, and motivation. Government should improve the poverty issues so some students living in poverty would not be behind. Poverty people lack majority of what wealthy people have. ARTICLE 3: CIVIL RIGHTS Regardless of race everyone is the same and should be equal. People should be equal fairly to other people
