what is your like main message when you write poetry?

you could add for the next line, "all these different waves i dont know how to think" :) i like poems

mainly the way im feeling, i have one about love, i have a couple about depression, one about the loss of someone close to me

yeah same here so what i suggest when writing poetry is make sure you read other people poetry because you could get ideas from other , i would try and write often like everyday , try writing in a journal and use a lot of rhyming all of those ideas really helped me . :)
