I don't know if this was intentional or not, but I think it's a bit unfair how black history month gets 4 less days than every other month to honor other heritages.

uhhh race isn't a thing, man created it so we can try to seperate ourselves from each other, the exact idea that black people are inferior to white people or vice versa is completely insane and bizzar. Black history month was originally "black history week" which co-encided with abraham lincolns birthday, it was the second week of febuary and it celebrated the freedom of slaves. They extended it for the whole entire month that way everyone could celebrate it longer. White people asked for their own month but where denied. The idea that we celebrate one specific race for one month is still abnormal. Seeing as no other country does it. Its the shortest month bc its the same month that slaves where freed, and if you want a different month then the month that black people gained their freedom, by all means go ahead.

Black history month is in february because of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass both of their birthdays are in february, Abraham Lincoln had a positive influence for slaves, Frederick Douglass was a former slave, he fought to the end of slavery
