Poem time~
Heart beats fast, wanting to be free
To go and dance and jump around giddily
Yet, it is here. Living inside of me.

These questions are inside me though
When do I start loving someone as different as them?
For they are beautiful and the smile that they have makes me jump, such as my heart did

When they turn I see their profile lit up as if they didn’t have a care
They didn’t care that she was in trouble
Didn’t care that they were so beautiful-

Listen to me, a heartless person
Loving for them
Yet, who wouldn’t?


As the mean girls catch my eye they sense something
Such as resignation and admiration for them
Oh how they are so arrogant and ignorant

They do not understand for they don’t know about my secret crush
If they did all that would be bad is that they would have an endless supply of bullying
I try to let this insecurity fly away, yet my heart attaches to it like lichens attach to rocks
