So, what do you guys think of my writing assignment?


In the land of darkness, I feel the presence of pain. Pain is an old friend of mine. And I know pain, thoroughly and intimately. Sometimes I share it; I share it with people like you. I've been alive for almost two decades. I've left my body within the sands of time and traveled through the darkest of caves and suffered. I've seen how much promises are worth. How many people have kept their word, have joined the side of the good? How many have stayed that way?

Not many.

What is the difference between good and evil? Is it pure black and white? Sometimes. Sometimes it's a blur, an indistinct gray fog. What matters is that in the end, we do the right thing and be better than what we are. Because that's what heroes do. Am I hero? Heh, no, not at all. Am I a villain? No, not quite. What am I then?

I am the balance between justice and vengeance. Between darkness and the light of day. Between a hero and an alluring outlaw who is willing to break the rules for the greater good. A Robin Hood of sorts with a devil-may-care attitude and with sarcastic comments.
I'm an enigma, a friend, and a protector. To do what I do takes conviction, but very often, it's the will to do whatever it takes to get the job done. To complete the mission, to accomplish the objective. To dive into the darkness and sometimes do what's ugly--because someone has to do it in order to perform real change.

Call me what you will and consider me how you desire. I will be whatever I am needed to be. A friend, a confidant, a protector, and a vengeful protector; a dark sentinel.

But to be honest, I'm The Wraith who you will never see. The quiet person you'll never meet and will never get to truly know. But I'll know you. I'll be the comforting phantom who will be the ethereal whisper of comfort for my friends and provide the comfort that my phantom presence provides.

Yeah, no thanks Ms. Sollums. You see, this is a literary masterpiece and therefore, it would be a grand waste of time and a shame to take delete all this hard work and cheat children out of this wonderful learning experience.

Besides, we all know I can teach English class better than you can ;)

To be quite honest, I didn't steal any of this kid's work. If by using the word "darkness" counts as plagiarism, that's pretty lousy. And changed a few things? No.

Tell me, did you even read his? Look at his and then look at mine. Compare them. They're not even close to being the same. What I wrote was about me. His was about being stuck in some darkness and getting kidnapped and transformed into a monster 🤣😂🤣Furthermore, look at this guy. He's calling people a "buttsnack". What even is that??

And finally, if his was so great and original, why is he getting upset about something that is "inferior" to his original work? If what you say is true, (it clearly isn't but I'm humoring you here), then everyone should like his work better.

Don't get mad at me because I had something unique that happened to begin using the word darkness. Instead, tried to enlighten yourselves and relax. You take this WAY too seriously XD.
