Part 2: “What Happened next”





So, after we done told the cops about what happened he tried to deny everything. My mom even had to had to have a fake date with him to get the truth out. The cops were uncover listening to everything he said to her. After they did that, they arrested him and wanted to full truth, but he still didn’t tell the truth. We’ve been going to court every time they said I had to. I felt like I was trapped and couldn’t find a way out. Ever since that we’ve been going through court, and he’s been in jail for 6 years now and I still must testify.

part 1: My story:



I am Landon but you can call me Lana. It was on thanksgiving and My mom was drunk and so was her boyfriend. Keep in mind this was in a hotel where they both worked. I was currently playing a game on my phone just minding my own business, but then my mom ended up falling asleep. Keep in mind what happens next is not my fault. As she was sleeping my mom’s boyfriend came on over to my bed and said, “Landon Please don’t say a word” (remember I was only 12 and he was drunk sooo idk). I was confused and then he started touching me like woooo man chill. I was scared because I had no clue what was happening at the time so of course I was scared. I got confused more so I was like time to lie to the man, I said “I got to use the bathroom” so when I came out the bathroom, he was waiting for me, and my mom's bed was right there so I jumped in bed with her and woke her up. When I told her what happened she did not believe me, so I told my best friend's mom, and she went with It to the police and told them everything. I was still so scared they had enough evidence to put him away, but they did not.
