How did imperialism, nationalism and the alliance system each lead to world war 1?
The use of Nationalism gave nations false hope and aggressive to win the war. Even if they weren't able to win a war due to their strength and understanding of plans and leaders. This leads to Imperialism. As you can see Nationalism had made a big dent in Countries understanding and strength of war.

Well to be honest none of that really led to world was 1. The real thing that led to world war 1 was the killing of franz duke ferdinand. He was going to be the next ruler of Austria-Hungary. He was assassinated by the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is the real thing that kicked off World war 1. So when that happened thats what led to imperialism, nationalism and the alliance system. This led to two sides of the war the allies which included USA france englad and for the first part of the war Russia before it was the USSR. Italy started off on Germany's side but then switched to the allies. Then the triple alliance was the other side or the other word for it was Triple Entente with Germany Austria-hungry and Italy. Also the US was not in the war until 1917 when Woodrow Wilson got permission from congress to go to war.
