I politely disagree. That is the pass down of a thing such as a phone or a clothing or something like that. What parents pass down to their kids is called genes You get genes from your parents. Every aspect of your body is made from one part of your gene pool from either your mom or your dad. An example is if your mom has brown eyes and your dad has dark eyes then you will get the dominant trait which in that case would be the brown eyes because they are more dominant. (please do not just use my definition) I hope I was able to help. If you want more explanation a good person to ask would be @vocaloid

ExclusiveKylaa:

The passing on of trends from dad and mom to their offspring is called heredity, additionally called inheritance or organic inheritance. The offspring cells or organisms collect the genetic records in their dad and mom via asexual or sexual reproduction.

Iliketoeatbabies:

The transmission of characteristics from parents to offspring is called heredity, and the characteristics that are inherited can be predicted.
