$$10^{2} = 100$$

$$10^{3} = 1000$$

$$10^{4} = 10000$$

$$1,35 × 10^{2} = 135$$

Yeah so 10 to the second power is basically saying 10 but with the extra "0" so it would be 100 same with the others, 10^3=1000 hence the "three" so you put in three zeros
