Most people think the meaning of a war is to prove one is better than the other, but I personally think its because many people think they should own everything or just to prove a dumb point. But people do often waste their time arguing about this subject. the meaning of war should be described as conflict being between different groups of people, (usually 2 groups of people) the war that's happening rn is just to take land or to prove something though.
