So I'm making a story I need feedback I was walking down the street when I saw it. The Attackers mansion. It was a big mansion with black peeling paint, shudders hanging from their hinges, and it looked like the roof was gonna collapse inward. It reminded me of something that would be off of a movie. I don’t know who came up with it. One day it was just then everyone called it the attackers mansion. Everybody called it that because people have gone in and not come back. Some people used to say that they’re all just faking. I guess I would’ve been one of those people. I didn’t believe anything unless I saw it with my own eyes. I then heard footsteps slapping on the asphalt. The person was then calling me by my nickname. “Cammie, Cammie!” I hated it when people called me by my nickname. Only certain people got to call me that. I turned around and saw my best friend Alice. She came to a stop in front of me. “ What do you want?” I snapped. “You’re coming to the thing tonight right.” She says. “Uhh… no.” I turned my back to her. I didn’t like them breaking into the attacker's mansion. So I decided to not join them in the mansion break-in. I rethought my decision sometimes because Elijah, my crush, was going. He had white skin, raven black hair, and eyes that changed to a caramelized color. But I knew he didn’t like me. It seemed like he didn’t like anyone. He never talked to anyone else but his family. I turned around to face her. I was shocked when Elijah was standing right in front of me. I then tripped over my own feet and he caught me by the hand. A shiver ran through my body. His hand was freezing cold. This was the first time he had touched me ever. He pulled me back to my feet. He then dropped my hand and looked up at me. He smiled at me. My breath caught in my throat. I dropped my eyes feeling my cheeks heat up. I looked back up and saw him looking at me. I wanted to look away but I couldn’t. It seemed like my eyes were glued to him, not able to move. Before I could try again he turned to Alice. My face was bright red. I could tell because of the heat radiating off my cheeks. I dropped my gaze again before he looked back at me again. “Cammie. Earth to Cammie,” It was Alice. I looked up and noticed they were talking to me. I’d been lost in my thoughts for so long I had just zoned out. I shifted my gaze to Elijah then quickly looked back over to Alice. “Sorry. Wasn’t paying attention,” I said in a quiet voice. “So… Are you coming tonight or not,”
If you want to read the rest of the story, ask me and I'll give it to you.
Alice said. “I guess I have to, you can’t go by yourself,” I said. She nodded to me. She knew what I was talking about. I was talking about the time when I was being trained to be a terrorist. I had run because I had hemophobia. So that made me a falde terrorist. But only a few people knew that about me. Elijah looked at me suspiciously. “ What are you two talking about,” Elijah asked. “Umm… nothing important,” I said cautiously, not wanting to give anything away. “Anyway, I have to come,” I said, talking to Alice. “Okay…” Alice says but stops. She then takes out a piece of paper and writes a note on it and hands it to me. I know what this meant she wanted to say something to me that she couldn’t say in front of Elijah. She hands it to me. I opened the folded piece of paper and read. Meet me at my house. Let me get rid of him first. I nodded my head yes to her. I had to think of something quick so I could get away without raising suspicion. “Okay, so anyway I have to get going before my mom grounds me for an eternity,” I said, trying to sound casual. Alice knew I was lying. I had no mom and lived in a run-down building on the edge of a neighborhood two blocks away. Elijah nods. No one besides Alice knew where I lived. She doesn’t go there often because the place was infested with spiders. “Well see you tonight then,” I said, nodding at Alice. She nodded. I turned around and started to run up the road. After a little while, I stopped and turned around and started to climb a tree so I could spy on them. When I finally spotted them, Alice was running in the opposite direction toward her house, but Elijah was nowhere in sight. I got down and started to walk back up the road. I zoned out and thought about tonight. Why had I agreed to go? If I made one mistake and defended them? What would they do? What would they think of me? Suddenly a car came speeding from behind me. I turned around quickly and tried to jump but the side of the car hit me hard. I jetted my hands trying to catch myself. But I never hit the ground. Cold arms came around me. I then smelled the blood oozing out of the cuts on my hands. It smelled like rust and salt. My vision blurred. I looked up and saw Elijah. Then the blackness swallows me up, and I’m gone. Elijah When I caught her it felt like she had been knocked dead out. All her weight slumped to the ground. I gently picked her up in my arms. I looked down at her and she stirred and her head lay limp against my chest. I walked as lightly as I could and sat down on the ground while she lay in my arms. I looked down at her. Her hair is everywhere. The ponytail she had in her hair is a total mess. I took the band out of her hair. Her hair spreaded around her head. Her hair was dark brown with black streaks in it. She had the most pretty eyes ever, a light gray with a hint of green. She stirred again, then opened her eyes. She looked up into my eyes like she was surprised to see my face. She started to sit up but winced. I pushed her back down gently. “You need to lay down. We need to get you home,” Elijah said. “ No, just take me to Alices,” Cameron said quickly. “No. I need to get you home,” I said. “Can I tell you something Elijah,” Cameron asks? “Umm... Sure,” Elijah said awkwardly. Cameron takes a deep breath. “I’m not like regular people, Elijah.” She sat up and started to stand up. “I’m a trained terrorist and I ran away from the place I was in before. I have no mom or dad. No home.” She is now standing up. “I live in a run-down house that no one has lived in for over 3 years. You tell anyone and I will make it my mission to kill you,” Cameron said. She is now walking away. I took a grab for her hand but she ran off before I could grab her hand. I took off after her. Cameron I was trying really hard to lose him before he could ask me any questions but he isn’t letting that happen. It turned out he was extremely fast. Why won’t he just leave me, I thought? I glanced over my shoulder and he wasn’t there. I turned back and I saw someone in my peripheral vision right beside me. My first instinct was to swing my leg up and kick the person, but I stopped because it’s Elijah. He smiled at me and grabbed my arm to slow me down. “How did you do that,” I asked. “Everyone I know has never been able to catch up to me,” I said. Elijah just smiled at me. “What are you staring at?” I asked. “You,” is all he said. I could feel myself blushing hard. “You know you’re blushing,” Elijah commented. I went very still, I had the feeling of someone watching me. I looked over his shoulder and froze. There were people about 29 yards away. “Elijah, you need to run. Elijah, run now!” I yelled loudly. I grabbed his arm and pushed him up the road, away from the people. He turned around and looked at me. “You need to run now,” I said again. “I’m not leaving without you,” He said. I would have stopped and blushed in different circumstances. “Stop trying to be a hero Elijah. I don’t need anyone,” I said, pushing him back up the hill. “Now go before I tie you to a tree,” I snapped at him, pushing him harder. I turned to look behind me. They were slowly walking toward us. Suddenly I was transported to a different time, and a different place. I’m standing on the road with my best friend standing next to me. Sam. I pushed Sam out of my mind. He’s gone. Dead. No longer breathing. It was happening again. But now it’s happening again in Rushford, Minnesota. I had to get Elijah out of here before the same thing happened to him. We had to go somewhere to hide. I grabbed Elijah’s hand and started up the road back up the road. I looked back at him and he seemed to be startled. Apparently he wasn’t used to being dragged by a girl. I took a sharp turn and we found ourselves in a neighborhood that had all older houses. I went running to the house that had no lights turned on inside and no cars parked out front. “Jump over the tripwire,” I yelled back at Elijah. I quickly ran-up to the door and went scrambling in my pockets for my lock picker. Where is it? Where is it. I thought as I continued to dig in my pockets. I found it and started to pick the lock.The lock came and I pushed Elijah inside. I shut the door quickly and locked it. I turned around. I then began running through the list of things I needed to do. One lock all the windows. Two locks all doors. Three we needed to get downstairs to the basement and take cover. I started going to every window and door to make sure they were all locked. I then swung the basement door open. I once again grabbed Elijah’s hand and pulled him into the basement, I then shut the door and locked it behind me. I turned to look at him and he seemed surprisingly calm. He smiled at me and I didn't smile back. I was too worried. I had to run from the fight because I had to protect Elijah. He didn’t know how to protect himself, I thought. I went to the door. I put my ear to the door and listened hard but there’s nothing. I waited but still nothing. Suddenly there was a huge bang upstairs. I turned around and looked for a way to get out. Suddenly I saw the window. I ran to the window and started to shoving at it trying to open it. It wouldn’t budge. I finally swung my leg up and kicked the window. Glass flew everywhere. I turned around and grabbed Elijah’s arm and practically threw him out the window. I stopped. The door was rattling on its hinges. A second later the door was blown off its hinges. I screamed as I was launched back. I flew through the air and hit a wall. I quickly got up and limped to the window. I grabbed the ledge of the window and swung my legs out the window and disappeared. Elijah When she threw me out the window I rolled trying not to make a lot of noise. Suddenly there was a big earth-shaking noise and a scream. A second later I heard someone land next to me. Cameron I think quickly. I sat up and looked over. It was Cameron. She had scratches all over her face, blood dripping down her face and her foot sticking out at an odd angle. I scrambled to my feet and went to her. I went to my knees and rolled her onto her back. As I rolled her onto her back her eyes shot open. She quickly started to sit up but winced but she continued to try. I put her arm around my neck and helped her to her feet. She touched her hand to her face and looked down at the blood on her hand. She swayed and I caught her before she could fall to the ground again. She slumped to my side, leaning most of her weight onto me. “Come, we need to go to my house, my brothers and sisters can help,” I said. She tensed beside me and started to speak. “No, I can’t put them in danger too. You should be leaving.” She started to pull her arm from my neck but I held onto it. “Not happening, we’re going to my house. You can’t even stand up properly,” I said, pulling her with me again. She started to protest again, but I cut her off. “You’re coming, and if you try to run for it, I’ll just drag you there. So make this easier on both of us, and come,” I said. She had a thoughtful look on her face and then she finally nodded. “Quickly let's get out from the bushes. They’re probably thinking we’re going out from the front,” she said. She started to walk that way and I followed her, at her side. “Okay, we’re only about three blocks from my house,” I said. It’s gonna take us too long to get there I thought. A thought popped into my head. I turned and put my arm under her leg and my other hand behind her back and lifted her into my arms. “Hey, put me down now,” she said, hitting my shoulder. “Stop complaining. This will make it a whole lot faster. I’m about to run us to my house. I am extremely fast,” She then cut me off. “You can’t run the whole way,” she said. “I have a secret only I and my family knows,” I say. I pause, not sure I should tell her. “I and my whole family are all monsters,” I say. “Haha funny now can we leave,” She says. “I’m not trying to be funny,” I say. “Okay, what if I prove to you I’m not human,” I say and then I begin to fizz out. Cameron I screamed as everything turned into a blur around me. I looked up at Elijah and saw him smiling down at me. This is impossible. Humans can’t do this. This is insane. He’s not human. I looked around and it looked so cool. Suddenly he comes to a stop. He puts me on my feet, I’m on my feet for maybe 5 seconds before I hit the ground with a soft thud. I looked up at the sky, and then Elijah’s face was above mine. I started to sit up when Elijah grabbed my arm and put it around his neck. He then started to pull me toward the house we were in front of. We went to the door and he opened it. He then pulled me in and set me on the ground gently. He shut the door then spoke to me. “Umm… so my family might be mad at me, but please don’t act so…” He then stops. “Don't act like what?” I ask. “Don’t act so surprised,” He said. He then yelled up to his family before I could say anything else. “Asher, Eleanor, Jasper, Josephine, Edith, and Walter, please come down.” Suddenly six people are in front of him. “Please help her. She needs help,” Elijah said, nodding his head toward me. I noticed Asher. He was a nurse at the hospital. He walked over to me. He kneeled next to me. “Hi, what's your name? I’m Asher,” he said, sounding all nice. “Umm… I’m Cameron,” I say. He looked up at Elijah and said “Elijah help me get her to the couch,” Asher instructed him to do. Elijah put his arm under my knee and his other arm behind my back and lifted me off the floor. He brought me to a huge room and put me on the couch Asher must have been talking about. He set me down gently and sat down next to the couch. Asher came into the room and said “Looks like you’ve broken your ankle. It also looks like I’m gonna have to clean some wounds,” He said to himself. One of Elijah’s siblings came in with a first aid kit and handed it to Asher. He opened it and started to go through the objects there. I close my eyes, exhaustion hitting me. Suddenly there was a slight tug on my pant leg. I opened my eyes and saw Asher rolling up my pant leg. “Okay first let's clean those wounds,” He said. He paused then spoke again “Will you please lay back,” He said. I started to lay then winced. My foot hurted a lot. Elijah noticed. He then helps me with my foot. He grabbed it gently and laid my foot straight, so that my leg is not bent at the knee. I then laid down all the way. Asher came to my side. “This is going to sting a little,” He said. He then dabbed at my face. It stings very little but I still winced. Then I feel something cold slide into my hand. I looked down at my hand and saw Elijah’s holding my hand. It is somewhat comforting. I held onto it tightly, not wanting him to pull away. I closed my eyes again, too tired to keep them open. Elijah Her hand felt so small in my hand. I liked how small it was compared to mine. Her hand was gripping mine hard like she doesn't want me to leave her. I looked back up at her face and saw that she looked extremely tired. There were purple hollows under her eyes, and she was extremely pale. Her hand suddenly went limp in my hand. She has fallen asleep. I looked up at Asher. He looked at me and sighed. “How are you tangled up in this mess?” he asked. I paused before I answered, “Well umm… she’s a friend of mine and… I kinda followed her and she was sorta almost run over by a car. The car did all those bruises to her leg and the wounds on her hands,” I paused looking back at Asher. Asher looked flustered, apparently, he was not expecting that answer. “I couldn’t have just left her, Asher, she was in trouble and if it weren’t for me she would be dead,” I said. Asher looks down at her and sighs. “Did you tell her?” he asked. “I kinda had to, she wouldn’t listen to me otherwise,” I answered. The image popped into my head of her being hit by the car. I shook my head slightly, shaking the image away with it. I looked back up at Asher. He was still looking down at her. I was still looking up at him when he asked another question. “What’s her story?” I paused gathering my thoughts before answering him. “Umm… Her name is Cameron, she’s a trained terrorist, and the last place she was at, she left for some reason she didn’t tell me,” I said, answering his question. I looked up at him and he was deep in thought. I could tell because of the face he was making. “Hmm… that's interesting,” he said. “What's so interesting?” I asked. “No, it’s just that I have friends in high places and I’ve seen her face on wanted papers. The wanted paper was posted by the police department in Mississippi,” He paused and looked down at me. I looked down at her. She looked like she wouldn’t hurt a thing I think to myself. He then continued, “She is wanted for killing half a classroom full of kids.” My eyes were still glued to Cameron, it was like I couldn’t move my eyes from her face. I finally moved my eyes to her face and looked down at her hand that is still in my hand. She killed half a classroom full of children with these hands. I couldn’t believe it, her hands were so small and fragile looking. How could she have killed that many children with her small and fragile hands? I looked up at Asher's face. He then spoke again. “The question is why she came here and left the place she used to live.” I’m still looking up at Asher as he said this. “I’ll ask her once she wakes up,” I said. “I don’t think she’ll tell you. She keeps to herself, talks to practically no one,” I said looking back down at Cameron. She then squirms in her sleep. She stoped then shot up eyes wide with terror. She winced and looked at me and she seemed to calm at the sight of me. I stood up and pushed her shoulders down. She was halfway into a lying position, she hesitated before letting me push her completely into a lying position. She looked up at me and I saw something I’ve never seen in her eyes before. It hit me; it was vulnerable. Cameron He then took my hand and squeezed it. He smiled down at me. But I couldn’t return the smile. My face just wouldn’t do it. I looked down at his hand and it felt rock hard, it’s also cold as ice. It was somehow soothing. I lay my head down and closed my eyes trying to remember the dream I was having before I bolted awake. It didn't take long for it to come back to me. It was the same one I’d been having since I ran away. But something was different about it. Another part had been added to it. I then ran through it in my mind. I was running through the fog trying to get away from them. It then ended there before, but it was now longer. I then ran up to a house and I was sucked inside. I found myself in an old mansion. It was old and full of rotting furniture. I stood there a few seconds longer and then I saw red eyes coming from the darkness, and then I saw a swift motion and someone murmured something I couldn’t quite hear but it repeated itself, “Fresh blood, let me suck it out of the humanly plump body.” Then it jumped at me. It knocked me down, and I was splayed across the floor. Then that's when I bolted awake. I opened my eyes. I didn’t want to look up at Elijah’s face, or anyone's in fact. I couldn’t put it off for long. I looked up at his face. His face has pity written all over it. I looked back down again. I hated it when people felt pity for me. It didn’t happen very often. I couldn’t stand looking at his face so I looked down at our hands, which were still locked together. He saw me looking down. He then noticed what I was looking at. He took his hand back. I looked up at Asher. He has a look of confusion on his face, but it then changes to curiosity. “We have some questions for you, Cameron,” Asher said. Panic suddenly flooded into me. He knew what I'd done. I thought. He then continued, “Why did you leave the place you were before you came here?” I looked down at my hands, not wanting to answer his question. “If you don’t answer the question, we can’t help you,” Asher said. I looked back up and saw Elijah in the shadow of the corner of the room. I couldn’t see the expression on his face. He was doing this on purpose, I noticed. He didn’t want to know the answer. I paused before answering. “I left the place I was at because one I have Homophobia, and two I didn’t agree with what they were doing, and third they were going to kill me anyway,” I then noticed I had smashed my eyes shut. I pried them open looking up at Asher. Asher has a concerned look on his face. I then remembered I shouldn’t be here. The Red Room will have come looking for me. I swung my feet off the couch and began to get up. Suddenly Elijah is standing over me pushing me back onto the couch. “You need to lay back down, your leg is broken and you can not stand on it,” Edward said. But I ignored him and I stood up. I then realized my legs were fine. Asher looked at me in astonishment. He came to my side and forced me to sit down. I yelp in surprise. “Hey, stop that,” I said. He then takes my leg in his hands in astonishment. “It has already healed. No human wounds can heal that fast,” Asher said, unwrapping my leg. I looked down at my leg and saw no wounds. “How could that be, she’s human. That's impossible,” Elijah argues, pacing the floor. “Wait a minute, human wounds aren’t supposed to heal that fast,” I said looking up at Asher. “No, the wounds you had weren’t supposed to heal this quickly. This is amazing,” Asher said, amazed. I then noticed Elijah had gone very still. “That's why she smells different, she’s not human,” He said. I looked at him confused. I am human. Aren’t I? “If I’m not human, then what am I?,” I said pushing away from Asher, and starting to pace back and forth in their family room. “I don’t know, we can do tests” He looked at me as I started to tell him no, “if you really want,” He added. I searched my memory for anything to tell me what I am. Suddenly I could feel a fizz in my veins. I couldn’t stop myself from screaming. I fell to the ground grasping my head hard. Elijah She fell to the ground, screaming and grasping her head. I lunged for her, and my cold, rock-hard arms slid around her middle. I held her in my arms, while she screamed. “What’s happening to her, Asher,” I yelled over her screams. Asher quickly came to my side and put his hands on her head. “I don’t know, it feels like heat is running in her veins,” Asher said, with his hands still on her head. Another scream ripped from her throat. “Cameron! Cameron, can you hear me?” I asked her. Another agonized scream ripped from her throat in response. I cradled her to my chest trying to make the pain stop. I then found out that I never wanted to hear her screaming in agony again. Suddenly her screaming and squirming stopped. I looked down at her and she looked back up at me with unfocused eyes. “Hey, are you okay?” I asked her. She just shook her head. She started to pull away from me and I helped her stand up. She stood up and reached her hands up. She then winced. She reached up and rubbed up and down her shoulders. I went up behind her. “What's wrong? What hurts?” I asked her, suddenly becoming concerned. She was still rubbing her shoulder blades when she answered. “My shoulder blades, my arms, and my back.” She tried stretching but winced again. I went up behind her and started to massage her shoulder blades. Her shoulders relaxed as she let me. I was taken by surprise. I kept massaging and she let out a long sigh. “Can you tell me something, Cameron?” I said spinning her around so I’m looking down into her eyes. “Umm… depends on what it is,” She said. I looked around and noticed Asher’s left the room, good. I looked back down at her. “What happened to you just barely. Do you know?” I asked her. She looked away. “Please, you can tell me anything,” I begged. She looked back up at me. “It’s happened once before,” She paused and shuddered. “The first time it showed the death of people I know, it showed my best friend dying. His name was Sam,” She said. I then started to panic at the last sentence she said. “How do you know it’s true? Like it's gonna happen?” I asked her. She looked away, then looked up at me again. “I know this… because Sam died right after I had it,” I froze. “Who did you see?” I asked her. She pulled away and walked over to the couch. I walked over to her, and sat next to her. I put my arm around her and she leaned into my shoulder. “Hey, you can tell me,” I said to her. “I…I… I saw me in the woods, next to a river,” She then pauses. “I was dead,” She said with no emotion in her voice. Cameron He tensed next to me. I pulled away. We were too close. I settled my head into my hands and went over what I saw again. Me next to the river writhing in pain. I could feel the pain. It hurted so bad. Gun wounds. How did I know what gun wounds felt like? I suddenly knew how I knew how it felt. That's how Sam was killed. Gunshot to his head. Right threw his eye to be specific. I cringed on the inside. Why am I still thinking about this? Suddenly a voice came from the left side of me. “Cameron, hey Cameron. Are you alright?” It pulled me back to reality. I looked over and saw Elijah looking at me. He had a look of concern on his face. “Yeah, I’m fine,”I said, trying to reassure him. It didn’t work. There was still a look of concern on his face. “I’m sorry about Sam,” He said. Tears were then stinging my eyes. Stop, you're fine. You’re not gonna cry in front of him. I screamed to myself in my head. But I couldn’t help myself. Tears spilled down my cheeks. I brought my hand up and started to wipe my cheeks. His hands slid around my waist and cradled me to his side. I leaned my head against his shoulder. The tears were then spilling five times faster. “It’s ok. You’re gonna be fine. I won’t let anything happen to you,” Elijah said, trying to sooth me. I took a deep breath and waited for the tears to subside. The tears finally slowed. I then take in the feeling of having Elijah's arms around me. It felt amazing. Asher was then in the doorway. I took my head off his shoulder and pulled away a little, to put some distance between us. Elijah looked over at Asher and nodded his head. “Come with me, Cameron. We need to get you somewhere safe,” Elijah said. Fear then started to run through my body. He stood up and reached for my hand. I let him take my hand. He then pulled me off the couch and out of their family room. I looked around and he took me up a flight of stairs. We passed 3 rooms. The last room we came to, he stopped and opened the door and led me in. I looked around and saw a closet, a leather couch, a big window, and lots of CDs. He led me to the couch and had me sit down next to him. I looked up at him. “Why are we here,” I asked him. He looked down at me and gave me a nervous smile. “Umm… we’re up here because they’re here. And I’m not gonna let them kill you,” He said, matter of factly. I looked down at my feet. I hated it when people stood up for me when I could do it myself. I then feel my hands heat up. I looked at my hands and saw electricity bouncing on the tops of my hands. My hands were shaking. “Hey Elijah. Is this normal?” I said lifting my hands for him to see. But before he could look down at my hands the electricity vanished. “What's not normal?” He asked. I quickly put my hands on my lap again. “Nothing. Never mind,” I said to him. I closed my eyes. I then smelled the smell of cloth burning. I opened my eyes and my hands were jumping with electricity again. I gasped and stood up because electricity was now bouncing up and down my arms. Elijah heard my gasp and looked over. “What the hell is happening to me,” I yelled. He took my arm. The electricity bounced on his hand and disappeared into his skin. “Okay, don’t panic. You’ll be fine,” He said, trying to calm me down. It didn’t work. My hands shook and the electricity started to jump off my hands. “Hey, you need to calm down. You’ll be fine,” he pleaded. Calm down. Like he just said you’ll be fine. I was screaming in my head. I started to try to make it stop. My hands stopped shaking. I was already so tired. Then the electricity stopped bouncing on my skin. It all stopped and then blackness. Elijah She closed her eyes. First her hands stopped shaking, then the electricity that was bouncing on her skin stopped. It was like she was sucking it all back in. She then fell to the ground. I lunged for her. My arms went around her back. I then cradled her to my chest. I looked down at her. She was so pretty. Her hair is splayed around her head. Her skin was white, and had some pink in her cheeks. There were deep hollows under her eyes. I sat there, not moving a muscle. There was no reason to disturb her. She started to squirm in my arms. She then tensed. I sat there looking at her. She opened her eyes and looked up at me. I reach down and tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. She then melted into me. She looked so small and fragile in my arms. She then sits up and gets out of my arms. She sits beside me on the couch. She then puts her head in her hands and lets out a long loud sigh. I put my hands on her back and began to rub her back. I stopped and listened to what was happening outside. I could hear Asher and the man arguing. I stopped and listened. It actually sounded like a woman. But I sensed something else. I didn’t think it was human. I froze. Did Asher know this? Of course he knew. He knew stuff like this before anyone else. I brought my attention back to the room. I looked down at Cameron and saw she had fallen asleep with her head in her hands. I brought her upper body so her head was laying in my lap. I looked down at her closed eyes. Her eyes were moving back and forth. I then zoned out and listened to the conversation they were having in the front of the house. But there wasn’t anything to listen to. It was silent. That’s when the panic hit. No noise. I gently took Cameron's head and set it on the couch where I was sitting. She then turned onto her side and fell back asleep. I raced to the window and peered out. No one was in sight. I froze. Where did they go? They couldn’t have just disappeared. Suddenly something clattered to the floor. Someone was in my blind spot. But it’s not my kind. It wasn’t a human either. But, it was coming up the stairs. I had to get Cameron out of here. Fast. I turned to Cameron. She was still fast asleep on the couch. I quickly turned my eyes to the direction the footsteps were coming from. The thing was two doors away. I turned back to Cameron and saw that she was already sitting up, panic in her eyes. I was there in seconds. “We need to go, now,” I whispered to her not knowing if the thing in the hall had good hearing. I looked back to the hall and saw the thing was quietly coming toward us. I grabbed her hand, while looking for a way out of my room. I glanced over to the window. That was the only way out. I dropped her hand and went to the window and opened it. The room was almost two stories up. How can I do this without hurting cameron. There was only one way out of here. We had to jump. I looked over at Cameron, who was looking at the door like she was waiting for it to blow off its hinges. I looked through the door. The thing was mere feet away from the door. I grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes. The second I looked into her eyes I knew she understood what we needed to do. She put her arm around my neck, and I slipped my arm under her legs and around her back. I looked down at her and wasn’t surprised when she was calm. I then looked back at the window, and took a running leap, and disappeared. Cameron I heard the door splinter when we jumped out the window. Then my blood started to fizz again. No, don’t. Don’t Do it Cameron. Breathe. In, out. In, out. I then felt the air changing. Everything around me started to shift. I opened my eyes to see a vampire backing away from me. What did I just do? I reached up to touch my face. My face was more angular. My cheek bones were more visible. I reached up to my ears. Instead of being round they were angular, sharp. I closed my mouth, and felt canines bite into my bottom lip. I looked at the vampire again, and saw he was walking toward me. I then saw the questions in his eyes. “Do you know what you are?” He asked. He took another step toward me, and I went into a defensive position. That step he had taken forward he took back. “Cameron, it 's me. You know who I am. I’m Elijah,” The name tickled my mind. It was all these smells that were distracting me. I stood back up. I lifted my nose to the wind, and stopped. I could smell everything. I looked back to Elijah. “The look on your face is hilarious,” I said, falling to the ground laughing. “Do you know what you are. It’s incredible. Your half vampire half werewolf,” He said, before I cut him off. “There’s werewolves now. Uhhh. What other monsters do I need to be aware of,” I said, walking around in circles. It felt like I had unstoppable strength and speed. I looked up and saw Elijah watching me. He had a look of amusement in his eyes.

She has homophobia? So like- she's homophobic I didn't really understand why she said she has homophobia that's the only part I don't understand ;-;
Why did she leave bc she has homophobia
She left because when you have homophobia you can't stand blood. And when you're an assassin you have to be able to stand blood thats why she left and because they were gonna kill her anyway.
She had lived out her usefulness thats why she was gonna be killed
.... homophobia means you dont like gay people -.-
hemophobia is what your talking about not homophobia
Ok I see what I did wrong. Thanx for telling me
homophobia is being scared of lgntq+ people, not necessarily hating them. but yes, just like what 'mrwhskers said, hemophilia is the correct word that you meant to say.
*hemophobia
I know I thought I fixed all that.
