How to level up: for the beginners

There are actually people who ask how to level up on QC (._.) so I guess I will explain how.

First of all, welcome! I hope you have a great experience. On QC, you can ask, answer, and help others with questions. You can make friends and do assignments together. QC is a great place to properly learn what you may not understand.

I will start from least, and go to greatest.

Least: chatting in All Subjects chat
Chatting in All Subjects chat can get you a level or two, but, hold on! It doesn't level you up that much, only maybe every couple of hours. You can do this if you don't really understand any other way, or are bored.

Middle: asking + answering questions.

Typing in questions, whether you asked them or not, can help some while gaining levels. Make sure not to plagiarize or give direct answers.

Direct Answer example: "the answer is B please give a medal". This is not allowed, because it does not help the person in need of help.

If you answer a question, you may have the Best Response. This can get you a medal. I will go over this in 3, 2, 1...

Greatest (best level-gainer): Receiving Medals

Getting medals helps your SmartScore improve a lot more than any other way to improve it. It can also help you get a tag. For example, @Hero has a tag that says "Honorary Professor of Mathematics". This means that he is dedicated to that subject and many more. The more medals you get, the more tags you can qualify for. Medals help a lot.
