What was the main reason for the Homestead Strike of 1892? A. to retaliate against unfair wage cuts B. to fight for basic civil rights C. to retaliate against unsafe conditions D. to fight for higher wages
Hi what would you think the answer would be? @jhopehwang321
um idk really i kinda think it might be letter d...
It would'nt be C or B because those two dont really sound right for the homestead of 1892..And to me higher wages don't sound right. So what do you think it leaves you off with?
its A
Look at it from a stance of "what is a strike?" We know that a strike is a movement to change or retaliate against some subject of immediate concern, so what would you think your answer would be? Given what you know about the Homestead Strike and it's focus on changing wages; what was it's complete focus?
