I need some art advice/critisism

But to give you an overview on what it is, it's basically a sketch for my actual art project

the masquerade mask and her lips r a bit sloppy as it is a sketch but i would love some critisism to use on my final

So looking over this, it's quite hard to give criticism because I'm not sure what type of style you're going for. I like the masquerade mermaid idea, but I feel like you could make her look more aquatic and majestic. It looks like she has a t-shirt on with lace at the end of her sleeves. I recommend decking her out in pearls and shells, and I definitely recommend cool colors for her palette. Of course, this is not my drawing and I have no idea what you're trying to go for, this is more so suggestions than criticism. Good job overall though, I'm mostly just nitpicking. I like the idea you're going for and I'd love to see how you execute it in your art project :')

I like the way it looks! Considering that this is a mermaid however, I'd try to add more details on how the mermaid looks. Maybe add some very beautiful jewelry, like pearls or diamonds or something like that? Other than that it's lovely!
