Here's the first snip-bits of the concept i came up with, I'm not done and this is just a first draft and hasn't been proofread feedback and constructive criticism is appreciated: He pulled away from Her hands braiding his hair and stood to his feet. "Well if I have any say in my own life outcomes then I'd like to find a good partner to settle down with. A calm life on a mountain top or something." his eyes gazed down to his friend and he let out a sigh, "I don’t want to be responsible for the down fall of the assembly if I do something wrong. Not to mention, I'm not fit to lead people like you are, you're much smarter than I" The girl sitting below him chuckled, getting up and dusting herself off. "Well I'm not as strong as you Morax. That's why I need you here and you know that." The boy titled Morax fell silent as he sat back down "Guizhong… what if I can't protect you, your people, what if I prove to be an unworthy, and useless god." Guizhong, as he called her, turns and starts walking down the mountain without a word. Morax sat for a moment, pulling his knees up and breathing in deep before lazily dragging himself up with a groan and catching up to Guizhong. "Why must you always ignore my troubles?" Morax shouts to Guizhong as he approaches her. "Because you speak nonsense Morax, why would you be worthless when you're such a strong ally? You make no sense" Morax scoffed at Guizhong's words "Because that’s all I have going for me, my stupid brain and poor ability-" Guizhong turns abruptly to Morax interrupting him with a loud voice. "Now I'm sure that to make a reliable choice on contracts you would need to be smart, and I'm sure for a man who is able to make such quick witted decisions you must be reliable and I'm sure with how smart you know I am I wouldn’t choose someone so useless to be by my side in the assembly… or are you calling me stupid?" Morax falls silent and swallows hard. "You doubt yourself too much Morax, you've made no mistakes till now so why suddenly would your ability change" Morax stays silent the rest of the way down the mountain until they arrive to the village. "I'm not doubting your ability to choose a suitable co-ruler, but what if I mess up or if you find someone more fitting?" Guizhong lets out a sigh and chuckles "Messing up is part of life Morax you should know that better than anyone, and co-ruler? The way you say it makes it sound like we'll get married" (part 2 in comments)
