We're supposed to be doing character design. So I was wondering if people could give me some of theirs and tell me the story of how you came up with it. I want to know how to make my character design :)

For character design, I just make a rough draft of the most unique characters I can find. Then, I make different stories (I make comics) with the characters. The ones that feel the most authentic/fun to the story/comic I put in, while the opposites stay out! :D

Think of Toy Story. Originally, they were going to have Woody be a ventriloquist doll. Why was he not a ventriloquist(s) doll? Because he did not match the fun and authenticity of the story. He also was a bit scary for younger kids.

This might be a stupid suggestion but on Disney+ they have a series all about making all of there characters. That would be a good thing to watch.
