yomamasage:

how do you find a decimal into a fraction or vice versa its so confusing like i know 1/4 is .25 but like 7/15 is confusing i dont have an exact one and i know its supposed to be like basic math but its weird

Vocaloid:

To convert a fraction to a decimal, divide the numerator by the denominator So 1/4 becomes 1 divided by 4, or 0.25 Going the other way around is a bit more complicated. Count the number of digits after the decimal place. (For example, 0.25 has 2 decimal places). Then write the power of 10 with that many decimal places (For our previous example, 2 decimal places, so 2 zeroes, so 100) Then write the (decimal * the power of 10) / (the power of 10). Using our example, (0.25 * 100) / 100 which becomes 25/100 which reduces to 1/4.

Vocaloid:

Some fractions result in non-terminating decimals. In that case you would either 1. Indicate which digits repeat, if any, or 2. For non repeating decimals, round (if they don’t tell you how many digits to round to, rounding to 2 or 3 is probably ok)

SliperyCat12:

All you have to do is divide the denominater by the numerator
