You have the hypotenuse 17 and the leg 8, so you’d plug in those and solve for the missing leg. From there, you can calculate the area of the two triangles with (1/2) * base * height. Multiply by 2 since there are two triangles. Finally, add the area of the middle rectangle (length * width)
