How to screenshot: A lame tutorial on screenshotting on different devices for the people who just have no clue how to.

Here’s a hint: These don’t go into specific types of devices.

How to screenshot on Chromebook:
Press Shift + Ctrl + Show windows .
In the menu at the bottom, select Screenshot .
Select an option: Take a full screen screenshot . Take a partial screenshot . Take a window screenshot.

How to screenshot on Lenovo:
Hold down the Windows key, then press the PrtSc key. The screen will dim for a moment, and the image on your monitor will save to the Screenshots folder in your Files.

How to screenshot on Mac:
To take a screenshot, press and hold these three keys together: Shift, Command, and 3.
If you see a thumbnail in the corner of your screen, click it to edit the screenshot. Or wait for the screenshot to save to your desktop.
How to screenshot on a phone/tablet:
To take a screenshot on a phone or tablet, you need press the power key and the home button at the same time. Your screenshot will add itself to your gallery.



These are just three of the many, many devices in the world. I didn’t go into detail because that would mean an entire essay of how to screenshot things on the millions of devices in the world.

And yes I had to find these on Google, because I didn't even know how to do these. But I learned something new trying to help others.

How to screenshot on Samsung


Push down the power button and the bottom volume button. Then it will be in your gallery to look at and edit.
