How can you tell if a tornado is about to touch down and how big it'll be?

Well it's hard to predict it or be able to tell it unless you have the right equipment but based on some research I found it says,

Warning Signs that a Tornado May Develop
- A dark, often greenish, sky.
- Wall clouds or an approaching cloud of debris.
- Large hail often in the absence of rain.
- Before a tornado strikes, the wind may die down and the air may become very still.
- A loud roar similar to a freight train may be heard.
