This is a poem i wrote quite a while ago back in December, I was in a really bad place so I'm just gonna put out a TRIGGER WARNING before you read c:

I opened my eyes
battlefields before me, dead
soldiers lying all around me,
some commanders,
some enemies.

and holding me in their arms,
close to their chest
was him.

"Please, please stay with me"
he said, voice trembeling.
as a tear rolled down
his cheek.

why would I ever leave you?
I'm here to stay by your side
forever and ever.
you are my dear, my love
my life, my all.

i reached for his hand,
to see his palm covered in blood,
blood that was not his own,
nor was it blood of the soldiers around us.

oh.
it was my blood.
i was dying.

I feel you about this though, people who feel suicidal should reach out to someone they trust. Keeping in negative feelings does hurt you more than you think.
