I dream of you during the day
And I dream of us during the night

I don’t really know who you are
Or if I’ve ran into you yet
Every dream I have
You appear different
Sometimes you are someone I know
And sometimes I have to say hello

It always ends the same
Just a waiting game
I really wish I knew who you could be
I’ll keep waiting and maybe one day
I’ll see

My mother told me to always believe
Be confident and to love myself
I took her advice and look
I am now a very proud man

Whoever you are
However you look
I shall always love you

As most of us know
Everything eventually ends
But as one reality starts to end
Another one slowly begins

So now this poem starts to end
And later another shall begin
I will wait for you as long as I can
And I hope that one day
We’ll be hand in hand
I know our love will never end
This goes to you
My future husband
