The hypothesis that germs cause disease is called the germ theory. Before the 1880’s, many scientists believed in the idea of spontaneous generation-the sudden appearance of living organisms from nonliving matter. Today germ theory is accepted as one of the great discoveries of medicine. Which of the following is a way in which germ theory has had an impact on modern health care? a the development of genetic medicine b the rise in public awareness about the causes of heart disease c the development of vaccines against childhood diseases d the development of safer anesthetics
I would say genetic medicines because scientists would have to collect a large amount of data from a population to understand the disease or virus or whatever hope this makes sense
Well let's say it's C. I'd say this because for vaccines you need to acquire the bacteria that causes the disease, and you aren't able to do that if you are uneducated in the germ theory. you need to get germs from said disease, and the children will gain a natural immunity against the disease. this is why I think this could possibly be the answer.
