Been a while since I posted something but I still find some time to write lyrics lol so here's what I got


I got to thinking
When I do that it all goes wrong
So I started drinking
I could do anything, like write a song

I can drink away this whiskey
Try to wash away how she kissed me
But I can't drown a memory
At least not the ones of you and me

Drivin down a dirt road
Holding your hand in mine
Listening to the radio
Glancing over and seein you smile
Thinking this is how it goes
But everybody knows

While she's singing along
Maybe I should quit thinking
