I answered your email question in your other post, it as for the math one, you’ve posted the collatz conjecture which doesn’t actually have a proof right now. If you need help understanding how it works, start with n , and if n is even divide it by 2, and if n is odd, multiply it by 3 and add 1. Take whatever result you get and let it be the new n value and start again. Eventually this sequence converges to 1, but as of right now there’s no formal proof of this, we just know it works for every n we’ve tried so far. In order to prove/disprove this you would need to prove that it works for every n value (no, plugging in lots of n values isn’t sufficient proof), or find some example that breaks the rule.
