For state testing, would doing good/bad on it affect your placement in classes (such as honor roll classes or advancement in certain classes)?

I haven't taken state testing in, like, 3 years, so I'm kinda worried.

Or are/would/will the state testing standards lowered due to the years of online learning?

I think it may depend on which state you live in but generally it is a way for the state to see how the school is doing. It is a way for the state to see how teachers and schools are doing teaching subjects so they can see what they can work on regarding curriculum. You should still try as best as you can because it shows what you have been learning. The tests also help to see what they are doing right and how different teaching styles affect different students. It can also help show that you are understanding what you have been learning throughout the year.

Remember although you may not do the best on a test or get the best grades it is not always a accurate reflection of what you know. Just try your best, that is all they are looking for.

I live in California, and which: where I live in, it's pretty competitive, and I feel like probably a lot of people qualify for the advanced classes (but are enrolled in normal classes). ;;

And yeah, I know I should always try my best, but I was wanted to know if this was going to affect anything.
