If a circumference of a circle is 16 Pi ft. then what is the radius?

Sherixn:

Circumference = 2*pi*r

Sherixn:

Which means 16 = 2*pi*r

Sherixn:

See if you can get r from the equation

Flippy:

But how do i do that do i get the estimate of pi and multiply it by 2 and see what I can multiply it by to get 16? like is that the formula or like how you do it?

brandon34:

Explanation: The area of a circle is πr2 where r is the radius. Dividing both sides by π we find r2=16=42 and hence r=4 .
