Adderall is a prescription drug that is composed of a combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, which are central nervous system stimulants. It is used mainly to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. Adderall works by increasing the activity of neurotransmitters in the brain, such as dopamine and norepinephrine, which are involved in attention and focus.
