I think you would want to use the information given to find the equation of the hyperbola, and then use the equation to solve for the unknown value asked. Unfortunately, it's not something I'm knowledgeable about, but I did find a guide on the topic that might be helpful: https://courses.lumenlearning.com/waymakercollegealgebra/chapter/equations-of-hyperbolas/
