Jaybtw:

Deforestation is the act of destroying forests so the land can be used for other purposes. Do you think deforestation increases, decreases, or has no effect on the biodiversity of the forest ecosystem? Explain your answer.

Sherixn:

Deforestation decreases the biodiversity of thee forest ecosystem. Biodiversity is the variety in a certain area. When you chop down trees, the wild life that lives in and around the trees and rely on the things that trees provide, (shelter, shade, oxygen) you decrease the biodiversity by making that wildlife move to another location or die entirely

itsmehjay:

Decreases because no trees = no oxygen and we need that Trees are important to our ecosystem
