Guide: How to Stay Focused

One of the many struggles I face during the school year is staying focused, especially when doing homework. I've put together a list of things that have helped me stay focused, and might possibly help you too (:

1. Study in a quiet/minimal environment. Whether that be in your bedroom or outside under a tree.

2. Remove any distractions. Now that you've removed yourself from the distractions, it's time to get rid of the distractions you might have brought with you. Items such as phones are really distracting and can take up precious time. Put these items somewhere out of reach where you cannot see or hear them. This has saved me so much time as I'm no longer worried about what people are texting me or just picking it up randomly to entertain myself.

3. Set timers. If you have a rough estimate of how long it would take for you to get a subject done, it can be helpful to set a timer so you feel motivated to get it done before time runs out. Set 5-10 minute breaks between each subject so you don't exhaust yourself.

4. Minimize distractions. Since a lot of homework is now on the computer, it can be hard to concentrate when you have things like discord going off or you see that someone just sent you a message in Question Cove (:
Any easy fix is to close/quit these programs to stop yourself from getting notified when one of your applications goes off.
There are several google extensions that are helpful in aiding you from accessing websites while you are studying. Stay Focused is really popular one made to help...stay focused. (:

By the way if you wanted to create a tutorial personally i would create one that someone else has already created. You could create something like (Tutorial): on how to bring up your smart score without medal spamming. That would be a great way to earn more respect from QuestionCove and get more people to like you if you wanted, so something like,

The first step in helping your smart score go up without medal spamming is…

2.)?

3.)?

And then you can keep on going with that.
