Mr. Miller has assigned his science class the task of making a dichotomous key. The students must classify a chart of dogs. Which characteristic difference visible in the chart would be the best start for the dichotomous key?

Hi and welcome to QuestionCove! I'm not an expert on dichotomous keys, but I think a good characteristic to start with is one that can clearly separate the group into two roughly-even categories. Are there any categories like that in the chart of dogs? Please feel free to share a screenshot of the chart if you'd like us to take another look and give more detailed input :)
